We are just starting to generate pages to interest former members and others associated with the Group. You can expect the pages to be expanded a little in the coming weeks and subsequently they will be updated from time to time. Watch this space!
Who are the 008s?
Anyone that has been a member of the 8th Norwich Sea Scouts, regardless of time spent in the group (post investiture), sections they attended or school they attended. This refers to both youth and adult members and their parents and other supporters.
Why join?
To receive invitations for example to join attend 8NSS Open Days, campfire evenings and anniversary type events. Norwich School ON events, lunches and dinners on a ‘Scout table’.
To receive news and updates from the 8th Norwich Sea Scouts, and in due course we may enable sharing of photographs and stories.
If you were actually a pupil at Norwich School you are probably on the Old Norvicensian emailing list, but signing up for this one too might just reduce the chances of slipping through the net occasionally, and our occasional emails will only focus on 8th Norwich interests.
Keeping in touch
Former members and supporters of the 8th Norwich Sea Scouts may want to keep in touch with the Group, and there are two channels for doing this: through this website and the Norwich School website for ON events.
